Xolo may not have that big a name compared to the likes of Micromax and Karbonn in India, and is certainly comparatively non-existent when compared to the likes of Samsung and Apple, but it's still trying quite a lot to make its presence felt in the market, and that it has recently achieved with the official release of the Xolo A510S.
Priced at Rs. 7,499, the Xolo A510s aims to offer sturdy plastic casing that's such a rare sight with smartphones these days. Arriving as an original successor to the Xolo A500s, which was launched back in 2013, the new Xolo A510S is a low-end handset. It sports a 4-inch IPS display having a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. Under the hood, the device sports a 1.3GHz dual-core processor, backed by Mali-400 MP GPU and 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory, which can be further expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. The phone runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.
On the imaging front, the device features a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with a single LED Flash. Also, add a 0.3-megapixel front-facing shooter. The makers have added a 1400mAh battery fitted inside, which according to Xolo can deliver up to 13 hours of talktime and 424 hours of standby time on 2G network.
