Devices confirmed to get Android 5.0 Lollipop

With the latest release of Android 5.0(Lollipop), a lot of people are in a dilemma whether their device will get upgraded to the latest version of Android or not. Well, there are many other ways to upgrade your device unofficially, but let’s just stick with the official update at the moment. The Nexus devices will be the first in line to get the new software update. Nexus users can expect an OTA within November and all other devices will gradually be upgraded. As the Nexus devices run on totally stock Android, there will be no delay for the updates. The companies like Samsung or HTC need to do some work on their own custom UI like Touchwiz or HTC Sense. When their own UI finally becomes bug free, they will start rolling out the update. HTC has promised its users that they will receive the Lollipop update within 90 days from the official release of the software.
